Tree House at Buffalo Speedway Residence

Inspired by the cluster of Oaks on site: Rooted to the earth at ground level Circulating through a central core Floating with lightness of the tree canopy across the second floor Design: The design concept reflects challenges of the site, with spaces raised 9’ above grade for flooding, setting an example of resilience and how to utilize flood lots. The central entry is pulled into the courtyard space, separating active living areas from private bedroom zones. The home terraces to the backyard through a series of outdoor spaces, enhancing connectivity to the yard. Craft: Constructed with precision-build prefabricated modules under a rigid quality control program, the home features high end finishes and details including Italian millwork in the kitchens and baths. Skylights create a serene, spa-like atmosphere in the master bath. Innovation: Utilizing prefabricated technology, the home took 5 months to set and complete on site, a significant time saving for this level of design and high-end construction.
