Modest Modern: An adaptive remodel & reuse of a 1360 F2 1940's small, with a new 440 square foot addition, this project strives to promote the ethos of Architecture for More People, by focusing on smaller scale, smaller budget projects, that can be realized by a much greater number of folks over normal "magazine architecture."
This project is about creating rich and varied spaces for modern living across 80 years of time, preserving existing housing stock, and doing all with the idea of quality over quantity..
