Use architectural expertise to address Life Dilemma: How to Maintain Professional Life and Goals to Succeed as Husband-and-Wife architects while simultaneously raising a family, eventually comprised of three young girls, two dogs, three cats, and occasional caretaking demands of elderly, aging parents. Solution: two adjacent and totally separate structures designed side-by-side in center city, Houston, one structure for family life, one for professional life linked by a bridge. Three radically different gardens complete the ensemble.
